 A little dresser that was made for me as a 4 year old, by Mr Earl. The picnic set is a present from my daughter Caitlin. The paint on the dresser is original.

 My very own sewing machine! Still in its original box, although a little worse for wear......

I'm putting up some pics of the collections of things that live in my house. I have to admit that there were more photos but when I looked closely the things needed dusting, in a MAJOR way!! LOL

Soooo.... the ones that are here were obviously the least dusty, more will follow soon!!!

Craft Room Horror!!!!

I am just taking a break from tidying, well at least making an attempt to tidy and organise, my craft room!! This is my new years resolution, nothing grand for me- I despaired before Christmas when I had to go out and buy all new chrissie stuff to make cards cos I couldn't find what I already had!!!!! 

I have taken it all out and it is in the back hall, which means getting to the loo is fraught with danger. Looks like one of those hoarder shock docs you see on tv. Obviously it is a room with expandable walls cos I am finding it hard to get it all back in even after culling and some new storage solutions!!!

It had started to spread to soo many other rooms in the house that JB suggested we needed a bigger house. Where was it all when the kiddies were home, or has it enlarged to fit the space after they left?? The latter I fear!!

Another resolution is to finish all the UFOS I have or at least cull them. There are soo many of them too. I have had phases of scrapbooking and card making but sewing always is in the background. MY FAV!!!!

Will load some before and after photos of the room, if I ever get to after that is.

from lonnie to hobart!

today i made the trek in pouring rain, i might add, from launceston to hobart to catch up with three of my girlies!!

i had a lovely catch up with them and their boys at jessies, with a great dinner and lots of laughs.

tomorrow i hope to spend some time with jess if she can get some time off work! then onto caits to stay the night then back off home on wed.

lets hope the rain has been and gone by then as its was a bit SCARY today as in the midlands the rain was coming down in sheets, i kid you not!

went to see ellie and cams newly aquired vintage caravan yesterday and what a cutie!! looks like fun and games ahead for them in restoring it........
