today i made the trek in pouring rain, i might add, from launceston to hobart to catch up with three of my girlies!!
i had a lovely catch up with them and their boys at jessies, with a great dinner and lots of laughs.
tomorrow i hope to spend some time with jess if she can get some time off work! then onto caits to stay the night then back off home on wed.
lets hope the rain has been and gone by then as its was a bit SCARY today as in the midlands the rain was coming down in sheets, i kid you not!
went to see ellie and cams newly aquired vintage caravan yesterday and what a cutie!! looks like fun and games ahead for them in restoring it........

bunnies, bunnies and more bunnies!!!!
eloise and cameron went to hobart this weekend and left me in charge of their bunny, Bunnie!! Must say that she was very easy to look after as I only had to pop in and feed her and clean up her cage. james came with me once and entertained her while i did the servicing of her apartment!! he LOVED her, but then again what is there not to love! XXXXX
ellie also took the rest of the bunnies i had been making for the girls with her and happily they all LOVED them, so much so i have had a request to make one for jessies friend lauras 30th. it's on the 25th of august so had better get my skates on as they take quite a bit longer to make than you would think!!
i have a few other sewing projects on the boil at present ( always have had had!) one is making a bed skirt from an old candlewick bedspread i found at an op shop, the only really good part was the sides and a medallion on the top so am making a cushion from the medallion. am also finishing off the aprons for niche market, just a few this time. i also found a blouse pattern and pretty fabric that i had bought ages ago so will be starting that too. have some christmassy things to go on with too but they are mostly hand sewing so can take them anywhere, am also hoping to get back to the quilt i started earlier this year- not sure if quilting is my thing yet but will see it through, i think my nature is for sewing things where the result is fairly immediate. went a bit silly buying some cute fabric by aneela hoey off ebay from the US, a lot cheaper than here even with postage factored in, and some cute retro fabric as well. so will have some parcels to look forward to.

Time Flies!!!!
Time does fly as you get older and one day runs into the next!! A lot has happened since I last blogged and I have been threatened by my darling youngest daughter, so here it is!! LOL!!
I really can't remember what has happened in all this time, my sister had her op and has been given a good report. oxoxoxo Christmas came and went with all the usual busyness, Carolyn and Ollie were married oxoxo, another birthday of mine came and went, Easter has passed too and now we are up to past mid-year. Tomorrow is Jims birthday, next year the big 60, lets hope life has relaxed a bit more by then.
Bonus - all my children are happy and healthy - no news of anymore grandchildren yet, but with all of the girls now with a man in their life, maybe it will happen soon, hopefully while I am still young enough to be of some help to them!!! LOL oxoxoxox
Have been busy the last few days making curtains for our bedroom, I hope to finish them and get them up tonight, so will close now.
I promise that I will not leave it as long before my next post!!
