eloise and cameron went to hobart this weekend and left me in charge of their bunny, Bunnie!! Must say that she was very easy to look after as I only had to pop in and feed her and clean up her cage. james came with me once and entertained her while i did the servicing of her apartment!! he LOVED her, but then again what is there not to love! XXXXX
ellie also took the rest of the bunnies i had been making for the girls with her and happily they all LOVED them, so much so i have had a request to make one for jessies friend lauras 30th. it's on the 25th of august so had better get my skates on as they take quite a bit longer to make than you would think!!
i have a few other sewing projects on the boil at present ( always have had had!) one is making a bed skirt from an old candlewick bedspread i found at an op shop, the only really good part was the sides and a medallion on the top so am making a cushion from the medallion. am also finishing off the aprons for niche market, just a few this time. i also found a blouse pattern and pretty fabric that i had bought ages ago so will be starting that too. have some christmassy things to go on with too but they are mostly hand sewing so can take them anywhere, am also hoping to get back to the quilt i started earlier this year- not sure if quilting is my thing yet but will see it through, i think my nature is for sewing things where the result is fairly immediate. went a bit silly buying some cute fabric by aneela hoey off ebay from the US, a lot cheaper than here even with postage factored in, and some cute retro fabric as well. so will have some parcels to look forward to.
